I am Chief Executive of the Capital Markets Solutions business at Contemi, where we operate Nova CMX — a multi-asset, multi-market post-trade platform used by Tier-I sell-side brokers, bank brokerages, and investment banks across South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the UK, and Europe.
My work is unglamorous by design: clearing, settlement, risk control, compliance, resilience. The systems no one sees until they stop working. I try to make them quieter, faster, and harder to break.
I took on a stagnant business unit and rebuilt it into the growth engine of the group. The platform had good bones. It needed direction, discipline, and a commercial backbone.
Returned the India operation to profitability inside two years. Secured over US$200m of global funding, brought IndAS, GST, and cross-border tax discipline into the group, and helped set the stage for what came next.
Grew up inside one of India’s largest non-bank financial groups. Core member of the Religare Enterprises IPO leadership team — the offering was oversubscribed 160× overall, 93.5× in retail. Implemented Oracle Hyperion and EBS across the group, and ran financial planning and analysis for the retail brokerage.
